Can you build one using plasterboard? Yes. With blockwork walls? Sure. But we’ve decided not to. We’re all about panels. This is simply because a panel system is much easier to install, it’s way more modular, there is no risk of fungal growth, it offers a smoother finish, walk-on ceilings are affordable, the panels are insulated, assembly and remodelling are nearly dust-free, and a panel system allows for the completely flush integration of doors and windows. Maintaining a dust- free environment, the easy way.
This is essentially what cleanrooms are all about: a controlled environment. Panels make it easy to control that environment. What’s more, in all honesty, they often end up being cheaper than plasterboard or blockwork walls.
Is that all there is to it? Well, yes and no. There are different types of panels on the market. All you need to do is find those which best suit your budget and your business.
We listened. Then we developed three tried-and-tested ranges of insulated panels. That’s three sets of specs, and three price ranges. Sometimes you’ll need panels from the highest range, but you are then not tied into selecting exclusively from that range. You can mix and match panels from different ranges to get exactly the result you want, and at the right price.
